To provide a throttle operating device capable of suppressing a wrong operation by the hand or finger of a driver who is holding the holding region of a holding grip while downsizing the entire device by reducing the protruding dimension of an operation lever in the vehicle widthwise direction.SOLUTION: A throttle operating device includes: a main portion C attached at a position inwardly in the vehicle widthwise direction relative to a holding grip M; an operation lever L that can be rotationally operated by the finger of a driver who is holding the holding grip M; a linkage member 1 capable of rotating together with the rotational operation of the operation lever L; and a magnetic sensor 2 capable of detecting the rotation angle of the operation lever L. This throttle operating device is capable of controlling the drive source of a vehicle in accordance with the rotation angle of the operation lever L detected by the magnetic sensor 2, and also includes a flange portion Mb which divides a region between the operation lever L and a holding region Mb of the holding grip M, and which functions as an interfering portion capable of interfering with the hand or finger of the driver who is holding the holding grip M.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
