To detect that air pressure of a tire has decreased, while suppressing increase in a computation load.SOLUTION: A tire air pressure drop detector comprises: a reference consumption efficiency deriving unit M15 which derives reference consumption efficiency EFFB which is an index value based on consumption efficiency EFF of energy of a vehicle when the vehicle travels in a predetermined traveling section PRD during an initial period after air pressure is filled in a tire; an after-lapse consumption efficiency deriving unit M17 which derives after-lapse consumption efficiency EFFA which is the index value based on the consumption efficiency EFF when the vehicle travels in the predetermined traveling section PRD during a measurement period after the lapse of the initial period; a deviation determination unit M19 which determines whether or not the after-lapse consumption efficiency EFFA deviates from the reference consumption efficiency EFFB; and a reduction detection unit M21 which detects that air pressure of a tire has decreased, when it is determined that the after-lapse consumption efficiency EFFA deviates from the reference consumption efficiency EFFB.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
