To provide a technique that can reduce an insertion load without reducing a removal load.SOLUTION: An elastic support member 1 is interposed between a coil spring and a spring support member 130 supporting an end part of the coil spring. The elastic support member 1 comprises a protruding part 20 protruding from an opposed surface 12 opposed to the spring support member 130, and inserted into a through hole 134 formed in the spring support member 130. The protruding part 20 comprises: a base part 30 whose size in a direction parallel to the opposed surface 12 is smaller than the size of the through hole 134, and fitted into the through hole 134; and a convex part 40 protruding outward from an outer peripheral part in the base part 30, and located on the side opposite to the opposed surface 12 with respect to the spring support member 130 when the base part 30 is fitted into the through hole 134. The convex part 40 comprises a concave part 42 recessed on the side separated from the opposed surface 12, between itself and the base part 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
