To provide a battery warming system that reduces heat loss generated by a rear-wheel drive device located at the rear of the vehicle and improves electricity consumption, among other benefits.SOLUTION: A battery warming system comprises: a rear wheel drive device 2 which has at least a motor transmitting driving rotational force to a travel system of a vehicle and a housing storing the motor and is arranged at the rear of a battery 3 supplying electric power to the motor; and a warming mechanism which transmits at least waste heat of the motor to the battery 3. The warming mechanism has a pump 53 which pumps cooling liquid distributed through the rear wheel drive device 2 and the battery 3 and valves 55 and 56 which are capable of creating a first state to circulate the cooling liquid through the rear wheel drive device 2 and the battery 3.
