To provide a guide for a boom length detector capable of suppressing a lap winding that a cord is wound on an already wound cord without the cord being wound orderly on a drum winding surface, when a cord begins to be wound up at a horizontal angle that is significantly inclined to a radial direction of the drum and when the inclination is the direction to press the code to a flange of a drum edge.SOLUTION: A first regulation surface 31R of a guide 30 according to the present embodiment is placed in such a position that a fleet angle θ is greater than +1° and less than +5° when a cord C is wound near an outer flange 22D. A second regulation surface 31L is placed in such a position that the fleet angle θ is greater than -1° and less than 0° when the cord C is wound near an inner flange 22C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14

    【課題】コードが、ドラムの径方向に対して大きく傾いた水平角度で巻き取られ始めるときであって、当該傾きが、ドラム端部のフランジにコードを押し付ける方向であるとき、コードがドラムの巻き取り面に整然と巻き取られずに、すでに巻き取られたコードに重なって巻き取られる縦積みが生じる。【解決手段】本実施形態に係るガイド30の第一規制面31Rは、コードCが外側フランジ22Dの付近で巻き取られるとき、フリートアングルθが+1゜より大きく+5゜未満になるような位置に配置されている。そして、第二規制面31Lは、コードCが内側フランジ22Cの付近で巻き取られるとき、フリートアングルθが-1゜より大きく、0゜未満になるような位置に配置されている。【選択図】図14
