To provide a vehicle body lower structure of an electric vehicle for protecting a battery in the case of a side collision.SOLUTION: The vehicle body lower structure 1 of an electric vehicle comprises: a pair of right and left side sills 10; a battery pack 20 arranged between the side sills 10; a floor cross member 30 that is installed on the side of an upper face of the battery pack 20 and extends in the width direction of the vehicle body; and a pair of right and left ground side cross members 40 that are installed on both end parts 20a of a bottom face of the battery pack 20 in the width direction of the vehicle body and have a groove shape extending from the vehicle. The floor cross member 30 has a linear groove shape that opens toward the vehicle body lower side and has both ends 30a closed, with both ends 30a coming into contact with a top plate part 11a, which is a lateral face of the side sill 10. Each ground side cross member 40 has a groove shape whose height is increased toward an end part 40b outside the vehicle above the battery pack 20, with the end part 40b outside the vehicle connected to a vertical wall part 11b, which is a bottom face of the side sill 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
