To provide a weight estimating system that can estimate weight of baggage with high accuracy, while enabling a forklift to smoothly perform cargo handling operation.SOLUTION: A weight estimating system described in the disclosure is provided with: a forklift that is equipped with a vehicle body, a mast provided in the vehicle body, a shaft, provided in the mast, which extends in a width direction of the vehicle body, a finger bar, provided in the shaft, which has a plurality of support parts arranged separately from each other in the width direction, and a fork supported by the plurality of support parts; a first sensor, mounted on the shaft between the support parts in the width direction, which measures distortion occurring in the shaft; and an information processing device that estimates weight of baggage placed on the fork, on the basis of a measured result by the first sensor, using correspondence relation information showing a relation between loads acting on the plurality of support parts from the fork and distortion occurring on the shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
