To provide a charging device capable of automatically charging a flying device.SOLUTION: A charging device according to an embodiment that is a charging device of a flying device having a power receiving unit and a storage battery charged with power received by the power receiving unit includes: a communication unit that communicates with the flying device; a detection unit that detects a parking state of the flying device; a power transmission unit that transmits power to the power receiving unit; and a management unit that determines the output of the power transmission unit. The management unit determines that the flying device is parked based on the result detected by the detection unit, transmits a charging request from the communication unit to the flying device, acquires information regarding the performance and the current status of the storage battery, determines the output of the power transmission unit based on the performance of the storage battery and an electric transmission efficiency between the power transmission unit and the power receiving unit, stops the outputs of the power transmission unit when the charging rate or voltage of the storage battery reaches a predetermined value, and notifies the flying device from the communication unit that charging is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
