To provide a solar power generation system inspection device and inspection method that enable stable inspection of the underside of solar power generation panels.SOLUTION: The solar power generation system inspection device is used to take a picture of the underside of solar panels, which is a side opposite to a side that receives sunlight. The solar power generation system inspection device includes a flying movement mechanism that flies above a walkway between the solar panels, a photographic device that photographs the underside of the panels, an angle adjustment mechanism that adjusts the direction of the photographic device, and a connecting part that extends downwards from the flying movement mechanism, connects the flying movement mechanism and the angle adjustment mechanism, and positions the photographic device at a height where it can photograph the underside of the panels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
