To provide micromobility with consideration given to safety of a user who is an occupant, and a method for controlling the same.SOLUTION: Micromobility 100 with a motor comprises: a first detection unit 111 that detects stability of a user during traveling of the micromobility; an acquisition unit 113 that acquires information on the width of a travel road in the advancing direction of the micromobility; and a control unit 114 that controls traveling of the micromobility. The control unit performs control for decelerating the micromobility or control for running the micromobility on a traveling locus having a curvature radius generated during changing of a course set larger than a prescribed curvature radius for the motor or a brake included in the micromobility in accordance with the width of the travel road during the changing of the course of the micromobility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
