To provide an inexpensive traveling direction display device that has good light utilization efficiency, has a simple structure, and can display a complicated pattern.SOLUTION: A traveling direction display device 600 comprises an optical device 100 for displaying a light condensing mark 400, and comprises a light source 110, and an optical element for condensing light emitted from the light source 110, on an irradiation surface 301. A deflection surface of the optical element is divided into a plurality of regions. Light emitted via the respective regions on the deflection surface of the optical element forms partial irradiation images corresponding to the respective regions on the deflection surface, on the irradiation surface 301. The respective partial irradiation images are combined, and the at least one light condensing mark 400 is formed on the irradiation surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
