To provide a hub unit bearing capable of easily and accurately confirming whether a seal ring is assembled on a regular position or not.SOLUTION: A seal ring 5 includes a core grid 28 and a seal material 29. An outward flange part 31 as part of the core grid 28 has a core grid side through-hole 34 axially passing therethrough. An outside cover part 38 covering the axial outside face of the outward flange part 31 out of the seal material 29 has a seal side through-hole 42 axially passing therethrough in a portion of which the circumferential phase corresponds to that of the core grid side through-hole 34. An inside cover part 39 covering the axial inside face of the outward flange part 31 out of the seal material 29 has a shape change part 45 which is swollen to the axial inside in a free state, and is adapted to be elastically crushed by the contact with an end face 7 of the axial outside of an outer ring 2, on a portion of which the circumferential phase corresponds to each of those of the core grid side through-hole 34 and the seal side through-hole 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】シールリングが正規の位置に組み付けられているか否かを容易にかつ正確に確認することができる、ハブユニット軸受を提供する。【解決手段】シールリング5を、芯金28とシール材29とから構成する。芯金28を構成する外向鍔部31を、軸方向に貫通した芯金側通孔34を有するものとし、シール材29のうちで外向鍔部31の軸方向外側面を覆った外側覆い部38を、円周方向に関する位相が芯金側通孔34と一致する部分に、軸方向に貫通したシール側通孔42を有するものとする。シール材29のうちで外向鍔部31の軸方向内側面を覆った内側覆い部39を、円周方向に関する位相が芯金側通孔34及びシール側通孔42のそれぞれと一致する部分に、自由状態で軸方向内側に向けて膨らんでおり、かつ、外輪2の軸方向外側の端面7との接触により弾性的に潰れる、形状変化部45を有するものとする。【選択図】図3
