To provide a position calculation method and a position calculation device with which it is possible to calculate time-series data of a position of a moving body with greater accuracy by using time-series data of acceleration and time-series data of angular velocity.SOLUTION: The position calculation method comprises: an acquisition step (step S2) of acquiring measured data to be measured by a measuring instrument 20 that is attached to a moving body and measures acceleration and angular velocity, the measured data including time-series data of the acceleration and time-series data of the angular velocity; a search step (step S3) of searching for one or more parameters that minimize an error related to a position of the moving body before movement that is calculated using the measured data and a position of the moving body after movement that is calculated using the measured data; and a calculation step (step S4) of calculating time-series data of a position of the moving body by using the measured data and the one or more parameters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
