To appropriately evaluate a safe driving degree.SOLUTION: A safe driving degree evaluation device 3 includes: a standard travel speed acquisition section 322 for acquiring a standard travel speed set with respect to a road; a safe travel speed acquisition section 323 for acquiring a safe travel speed of a vehicle based on a travel speed when the vehicle travels without presence of an obstacle within a predetermined range in the periphery of the vehicle among the travel speeds when the vehicle travels on the road; and a safe driving degree evaluation section 324 for evaluating a safe driving degree of the vehicle based on a difference between the standard travel speed and the safe travel speed. The safe travel speed acquisition section 323 acquires the safe travel speed for each standard travel speed based on the travel speed when the vehicle travels on each one of multiple roads where the standard travel speeds are mutually different. The safe driving degree evaluation section 324 evaluates driving at a lower standard travel speed corresponding to each difference as the driving having the lower safe driving degree when the differences are equal concerning the respective differences between the mutually corresponding standard travel speeds and safe travel speeds.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】安全運転度を適切に評価すること。【解決手段】安全運転度評価装置3は、道路に対して設定された標準走行速度を取得する標準走行速度取得部322と、車両が道路を走行した時の走行速度のうち、車両周囲の所定の範囲内に障害物が存在しない状態で走行した時の走行速度に基づいて、車両の安定走行速度を取得する安定走行速度取得部323と、標準走行速度と安定走行速度との差分に基づいて、車両の安全運転度を評価する安全運転度評価部324とを備える。安定走行速度取得部323は、標準走行速度が互いに異なる複数の道路のそれぞれを車両が走行した時の走行速度に基づいて、標準走行速度毎に安定走行速度を取得する。安全運転度評価部324は、互いに対応する標準走行速度及び安定走行速度同士の各差分に対して、各差分が同等の場合は各差分に対応する標準走行速度が低い方をより低い安全運転度と評価する。【選択図】図3
