To provide a charging facility reservation system and an electric vehicle that improve the operating efficiency of charging facilities.SOLUTION: A charging facility reservation system 1 includes: an electric vehicle 100 equipped with a route calculation unit 120 that calculates a driving route via a charging facility 300 based on the cruising range of the vehicle, a current position acquisition unit 130 that acquires the current position of the vehicle, an estimated arrival time calculation unit 140 that calculates an estimated arrival time when the vehicle arrives at the charging facility 300 based on a distance from the current position to the charging facility 300, and a control unit 150 that makes a tentative reservation for the charging facility 300 set as a transit point in the route calculation unit 120, and cancels at least part of the tentative reservation when the estimated arrival time exceeds a use start time set when the tentative reservation was made; and a server device 200 that manages reservations for use of the charging facility 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
