To provide a rubber composition for tires that comprises thermally expandable microcapsules, enabling improved on-ice performance while ensuring reduced environmental load.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for tires comprises, based on 100 pts.mass of diene rubber, 30 pts.mass-100 pts.mass of carbon black and/or white filler and 0.1 pt.mass-30 pts.mass of thermally expandable microcapsules. The thermally expandable microcapsules used here have a five-day biodegradability (De1) of more than 0%, as measured in accordance with JIS K6950:2000.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを配合したタイヤ用ゴム組成物において、環境負荷を抑制しながら、氷上性能を向上すること可能にしたタイヤ用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対して、カーボンブラックおよび/または白色充填剤を30質量部~100質量部、熱膨張性マイクロカプセルを0.1質量部~30質量部配合し、熱膨張性マイクロカプセルとしてJIS K6950:2000に準拠して測定される5日間の生分解度(De1)が0%超であるものを用いる。【選択図】なし
