To adjust an optica axis of a camera properly when an angle of a housing of an on-vehicle device is adjusted.SOLUTION: A vehicle imaging device 1 includes: a pillar attached to a vehicle; a housing which may change an orientation with a support axis of the pillar set to its center; a camera which is one example of a camera unit disposed in the housing; an actuator 17 configured to adjust an orientation of an optical axis of the camera; a light emitting unit 15 which is disposed at the pillar, oriented to a windshield of the vehicle; and an adjustment control unit 24 which controls adjustment by the actuator 17. The camera 16 images an index mark formed by light, emitted from the light emitting unit 15 and absorbed in the windshield of the vehicle, as a heat map. The adjustment control unit 24 adjusts the orientation of the optical axis according to a change of the orientation of the housing based on the index mark imaged by the camera 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
