To transmit a contact risk with an object in the periphery of an own vehicle in a manner to enable a driver to reliably recognize the contact risk depending on a fatigue degree of the driver.SOLUTION: An attention calling system includes: HMI devices mounted on an own vehicle; and an attention calling device for transmitting a possibility of a contact between the own vehicle and an object to a driver by the HMI devices. The attention calling device includes: a risk identification section for identifying a risk position of occurrence of the contact and a risk level of the contact; a fatigue estimation section for estimating a fatigue degree of the driver; and a transmission section for transmitting the risk position and the risk level to the driver. The transmission section selects the HMI device to be used depending on the fatigue degree of the driver, allows the tactile-type HMI device or the auditory-type HMI device to give a tactile stimulation or an auditory stimulation at a saliency level corresponding to the height of the risk level to the driver, and transmits visual information indicating a direction of the risk position to the driver by the visual-type HMI device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
