To provide a deflecting refractory plate for rocket launching and a method of replacing the same, where the plate is composed of upper and lower sections but has minimal adverse effects due to flowing-down combustion gas, and where the refractory plate can be replaced at low cost easily.SOLUTION: A deflecting refractory plate for rocket launching includes a first refractory member 11 and a second refractory member 13. An upper surface 12A of the first refractory member 11 and an upper surface 14A of the second refractory member 13 are supported from below by a support member 72 adjacently to each other each with inclination at a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal plane. The first refractory member 11 is positioned on the upper side relative to the second refractory member 13, and positioned on the support member 72 at a different angle of inclination with respect to the horizontal plane than the second refractory member 13. A surface 12A1, which is a virtual parallel extension of the upper surface 12A of the first refractory member 11, is positioned to intersect the upper surface 14A of the second refractory member 13.
