To provide a vessel propulsion system capable of improving a hull behavior when propulsion forces of a plurality of propellers are simultaneously used, and a vessel.SOLUTION: A vessel propulsion system 100 comprises an engine outboard OM and an electric outboard EM attached to a hull. The engine outboard has a propeller rotated about a first propeller axis. The electric outboard has a propeller rotated about a second propeller axis different from the first propeller axis. The main controller 101 controls the engine outboard OM and the electric outboard, and executes, in a translation movement mode, propulsion force alignment control for aligning rising characteristics of the propulsion force of the electric outboard with those of the engine outboard when an operation signal of a joystick 8 is input. The propulsion force alignment control can include delay control for delaying rising of the propulsion force of the electric outboard.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
