To provide a batten lifting system and a control device capable of early detecting abnormality of a wire and reducing a load of maintenance work.SOLUTION: A batten lifting system according to the present embodiment comprises a batten, a height detection part, a mark detection part, and an abnormality detection part. The batten can be raised and lowered. The height detection part detects a heigh of the batten. The mark detection part detects a mark provided on a wire rope connecting the batten and a hoist. The abnormality detection part detects abnormality based on the height of the batten and a detection result of the mark.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
