To estimate the state related to a hoist without constructing a physical model.SOLUTION: A hoist comprises a motor and winds up/down a suspended load by controlling the motor. The hoist has an operation information acquisition part to acquire motor operation information and a state estimation part to estimate the state related to the hoist based on operation information acquired by the operation information acquisition part and on a state estimation formula which has been learned to be able to estimate the state related to the hoist.
