To improve an operation rate of a rental electric vehicle.SOLUTION: A battery remaining quantity display method for displaying a battery remaining quantity of a rental electric vehicle, includes: setting an allocated battery capacity which is allocated to a user of an electric vehicle; and displaying, on a display of the electric vehicle, remaining quantity information based on the allocated battery capacity. The display of the remaining quantity information includes: displaying that a battery remaining quantity at a start of lending to the user is 100%; displaying that a battery remaining quantity that is decreased from an actual battery remaining quantity at the start of lending by the allocated battery capacity is 0%; and displaying the battery remaining quantity so as to be decreased within a range from 100% to 0% in accordance with reduction of the actual battery remaining quantity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
