To provide a vehicle body lower part structure that is able to obtain high collision energy absorption characteristics with a small amount of collision deformation while restricting a weight increase caused by a structural member.SOLUTION: In a vehicle body lower part structure having a specific composing member including a side sill 1, the side sill 1 has a structure in which a closed cross-sectional space 3 is partitioned into two closed cross-sectional spaces 3a, 3b in a vehicle-width direction by a partition member 2. The side sill has an impact absorbing structure A composed of: a pair of cross-sectionally groove-shaped members 4a, 4b joined to the partition member 2 while sandwiching the partition member 2 from both sides in the closed cross-sectional spaces 3a, 3b, and forming closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b with the partition member 2 therebetween; and a bulkhead 6 provided in each of the closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b along the vehicle-width direction, thereby separating the closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b. The bulkheads 6 in the closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b are provided under a predetermined arrangement condition, and the bulkheads 6 are joined to at least the cross-sectionally groove-shaped members 4a, 4b, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】構造部材による重量増加を抑えつつ、少ない衝突変形量で高い衝突エネルギー吸収特性が得られる車体下部構造を提供する。【解決手段】サイドシル1を含む特定の構成部材を備える車体下部構造であって、サイドシル1は、仕切部材2により閉断面空間3が車両幅方向で2つの閉断面空間3a,3bに仕切られた構造を有し、さらにサイドシルは、閉断面空間3a,3b内で、仕切部材2を両側から挟んだ状態で仕切部材2に接合され、仕切部材2との間でそれぞれ閉断面空間5a,5bを形成する1対の断面溝形部材4a,4bと、各閉断面空間5a,5b内に車両幅方向に沿って設けられることで閉断面空間5a,5bを仕切るバルクヘッド6とで構成される衝撃吸収構造体Aを有する。閉断面空間5a,5b内のバルクヘッド6は、所定の配置条件で設けられ、各バルクヘッド6は少なくとも断面溝形部材4a,4bに接合される。【選択図】図1
