To provide an elevator brake device capable of easy grasping of the wear state of a bush.SOLUTION: The elevator brake device includes: a fixed member 41 that has a fixed core 42 and an excitation coil 43 and is formed with an insertion hole 47 with a circular cross-section; a movable iron core 44 having a cylindrical shape which is inserted into the insertion hole 47 so that it can move forward and backward; and a bush 46 provided between an outer peripheral surface 44c of the movable iron core 44 and an inner wall surface 47a of the insertion hole 47. The movable iron core 44 has a first-end surface 44a positioned on the back side of the insertion hole 47 and a second end face 44b positioned at the opening end side of the insertion hole 47. The outer peripheral surface 44c of the movable iron core 44 is formed with three or more grooves 51, 52, 53, and 54 arranged in the circumferential direction of the movable iron core 44, and each of the three or more grooves 51, 52, 53, and 54 extends along a central axis 44d of the movable iron core 44 and reaches the second end surface 44b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】ブッシュの摩耗状態を容易に把握できるエレベータ用ブレーキ装置を提供する。【解決手段】エレベータ用ブレーキ装置は、固定鉄心42及び励磁コイル43を有し、断面円形状の挿入穴47が形成された固定部材41と、円柱状の形状を有し、挿入穴47に進退自在に挿入された可動鉄心44と、可動鉄心44の外周面44cと挿入穴47の内壁面47aとの間に設けられたブッシュ46と、を備え、可動鉄心44は、挿入穴47の奥側に位置する第1端面44aと、挿入穴47の開口端側に位置する第2端面44bと、を有しており、可動鉄心44の外周面44cには、可動鉄心44の周方向に配列した3つ以上の溝51、52、53、54が形成されており、3つ以上の溝51、52、53、54のそれぞれは、可動鉄心44の中心軸44dに沿って延伸して第2端面44bに達している。【選択図】図3
