To solve the problem that successful communication cannot necessarily be performed with pedestrians only by detecting the pedestrians around an own vehicle.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle display device 8 comprises: an imaging unit 1 which images a pedestrian existing around an own vehicle; a display unit 2 which displays information to be presented to the pedestrian; and a control unit 3 which determines whether or not an effective field of view of the pedestrian deviates from the display device 2 on the basis of an acquired image by the imaging unit 1 and displays information according to this determination result on the display unit 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
