To grasp appropriateness of a navigation route.SOLUTION: A navigation support device includes: an acquirement unit for acquiring a caution region indicating a region where collision risk occurs derived by carrying out a collision calculation regarding own vessel and other vessel; and an avoidance navigation route calculation unit for calculating an avoidance route connecting multiple nodes set between the initial position based on the position of the own ship and reaching the return area while avoiding the other ship, and for calculating an evaluation value based on appropriateness of each route connecting between nodes belonging to the avoidance navigation route by carrying out calculation for setting the next node ahead of the navigation route until reaching the return area so that appropriateness of the navigation route headed to the caution region is relatively lower than the appropriateness of the navigation route not headed to the caution region among the appropriateness respectively to the plurality of routes with the node as the starting point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】避航ルートの適切さを把握することができる。【解決手段】自船と相手船とについての衝突計算を行うことによって求められる、衝突リスクが生じる領域を示す注意領域を取得する取得部と、前記自船の位置に基づく初期位置から前記相手船を避航して復帰領域に到達するまでの間に設定される複数のノードを結ぶ避航ルートを求める避航ルート演算部であり、前記ノードを起点とし異なる複数の針路にそれぞれ設定される適切度のうち、前記注意領域に向かう針路の適切度が前記注意領域に向かわない針路の適切度よりも相対的に低くなるようにして当該針路の先に次ノードを設定する演算を前記復帰領域に到達するまで行い、前記避航ルートに属するノード間を結ぶ各針路の適切度に基づいて評価値を求める避航ルート演算部と、を有する。【選択図】図1
