To provide a vehicle body rear part structure that is able to protect a battery against input of an impact load from behind, without increasing the rigidity and strength of a battery frame more than necessary.SOLUTION: A vehicle body rear part structure includes a battery 9, a battery frame 12, a rear part mounting component, and a reinforcing block 20. The battery 9 is disposed below a floor. The battery frame 12 covers the periphery of the battery 9 and has a rear frame portion 12r that covers at least a rear side of the battery 9. The rear part mounting component is disposed behind the rear frame portion 12r and is disposed at a height at which at least a part of the rear part mounting component overlaps the rear frame portion 12r in frontward and rearward directions. The reinforcing block 20 is supported by any one of frame members of the vehicle and is disposed between the rear frame portion 12r and the rear part mounting component. The reinforcing block 20 includes a guide surface 20g inclined downward in a forward direction, in a region facing the rear part mounting component on a front side of the rear part mounting component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
