To provide a diving work assistance system capable of miniaturizing a mother ship.SOLUTION: The diving work assistance system 1 comprises: a mother ship 2; a deck decompression chamber 3 mounted on the mother ship 2; and an underwater decompression chamber 4 connectable to the deck decompression chamber 3 and lowered from the mother ship 2 to a target depth. The diving work assistance system 1 comprises a nitrogen production machine 5 that is mounted on the mother ship 2 and that separates nitrogen from air and supplies it to the deck decompression chamber 3. The nitrogen production machine 5 may supply the nitrogen to the underwater decompression chamber 3 cut off from the deck decompression chamber 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
