To provide a safety device of a vehicle for work which can detect a wheel stopper member forgotten to be installed.SOLUTION: A safety device is configured so as to comprise: a wheel stopper device 101 which restricts movement of a vehicle for work during parking; a beacon transmitter 130 which is provided on the wheel stopper device 101 and then sends a beacon signal; a receiver 71 which is provided in the neighborhood of a tire wheel 5 in a vehicle body 2 and then receives the beacon signal transmitted from the beacon transmitter 130; and a controller 60 which determines whether or not the wheel stopper device 101 is set in the neighborhood of the tire wheel 5 on the basis of a reception result of the beacon signal by the receiver 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
