To provide a technique that can continue to control a moving object based on remote operation information even when a communication delay occurs.SOLUTION: In a moving object control device that controls a moving object based on local operation or remote operation by a remote device, while receiving remote operation information, the moving object control device executes a determination process for determining whether to control the moving object based on the remote operation information, wherein: in the determination process, a degree of change in an external situation during an arbitrary time period from a transmission time when the remote operation information is transmitted from a remote device to a reception time when the moving object receives the remote operation information is evaluated based on transmission time information, reception time information, and external recognition information; if the degree of change is evaluated to be within a permissible range, control of the moving object based on the remote operation information is permitted; and if the degree of change is evaluated not to be within the permissible range, the execution of control of the moving object based on the remote operation information is prohibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】通信遅延が生じた場合であってもリモート操作情報に基づいた移動体の制御を継続して実行することのできる技術を提供する。【解決手段】ローカル操作又はリモート装置によるリモート操作に基づいて移動体を制御する移動体の制御装置であり、リモート操作情報の受信中、リモート操作情報に基づいた移動体の制御を実行するか否かを判定する判定処理を行い、判定処理では、送信時刻情報、受信時刻情報及び外部認識情報に基づいて、リモート操作情報がリモート装置から送信された送信時刻から当該リモート操作情報を移動体が受信する受信時刻までの任意の時間帯における外部状況の変化度合いが評価され、変化度合いが許容範囲内にあると評価された場合、リモート操作情報に基づいた移動体の制御の実行が許可され、そうでないと評価された場合、リモート操作情報に基づいた移動体の制御の実行が禁止される。【選択図】図4
