To solve the problem in which: since tire belt layers receive strong impact or large load, metal reinforcement cords like steel cords are used as reinforcement members; and the rubber coating such steel cords need to adhere well to the steel cord, but prolonged exposure to hygrothermal conditions leads to aging and a subsequent decrease in the adhesion between the rubber and metal.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for metal bonding is provided. Relative to 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber, of which at least 80 pts.mass is natural rubber, the composition contains 1-30 pts.mass of a hydrophilic polymer compound with an Sp value of 12 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】タイヤのベルト層には、強い衝撃や大きな荷重がかかるため、補強材としてスチールコードのような金属製補強コードが用いられている。このようなスチールコードを被覆するゴムは、スチールコードとの良好な接着性が必要とされているが、湿熱下に長時間さらされて老化するとゴム-金属間の接着性が低下するという問題点があった。【解決手段】天然ゴムを80質量部以上含むジエン系ゴム100質量部に対し、Sp値が12以上の親水性高分子化合物を1~30質量部配合してなる金属接着用ゴム組成物によって上記課題を解決した。【選択図】なし
