To limit supply of charge power, even when a control signal for commanding control of the charge power to an electric vehicle cannot be received.SOLUTION: A communication unit 12 is communicable with a first control unit 23 for transmitting a control signal that commands control of charge power supplied to an electric vehicle 3 from a power supply to an electric vehicle charger 1. A second control unit 17 controls the charge power according to the control signal which the communication unit 12 has received from the first control unit 23. A communication determination unit 18 determines whether or not the communication unit 12 and the first control unit 23 are communicable with each other. A connection determination unit 19 determines whether or not the electric vehicle charger 1 and the electric vehicle 3 are connected with each other. The second control unit 17 does not supply the charge power to the electric vehicle 3 when starting supply of the charge power to the electric vehicle 3, if it is determined by the communication determination unit 18 that the communication unit 12 and the first control unit 23 are not communicable with each other, and it is determined by the connection determination unit 19 that the electric vehicle charger 1 and the electric vehicle 3 are connected with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
