To provide a device capable of realizing underwater wireless communication.SOLUTION: An underwater radio communication device includes a host device 1 that transmits radio waves with a frequency within a band of 50 to 500 MHz, and an underwater device 2 that receives radio waves. The host device 1 and the underwater device 2 respectively have underwater antennas 21 and 22, and the conductive elements of the underwater antennas 21 and 22 have a length obtained by dividing half the wavelength of the radio wave by the dielectric constant of water to the 1/2 power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
