To prevent intrusion of debris to a dense orbit or a dense region.SOLUTION: A debris removal satellite 300 includes a capture device 135 which restrains debris 6 with a degree of freedom and captures the debris, a thruster 341 of a chemical propulsion method, a propellant tank 342 to store chemical fuel, a solar sensor 331, and a propulsion device having a plurality of thrusters. The capture device 135 is arranged in the opposite direction to the jetting direction of the thruster 341a having the maximum jetting capacity in the plurality of thrusters. The solar sensor 331 is inclined from the jetting vector of the thruster 341a whose directivity direction has the maximum jetting capacity. If the solar sensor 331 is turned into the attitude directed to the sun, the debris removal satellite 300 makes the thruster for deceleration jet in the orbit reverse direction in an orbital plane in a polar region. Therefore, efficiency of a propulsion system is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
