To improve impact resistance of an outboard engine.SOLUTION: An electric outboard engine 70 includes an outboard engine body 60 and an attachment unit 50. The attachment unit 50 attaches the outboard engine body 60 to a rear unit of a hull 10. The outboard engine body 60 includes: a propeller 66; an electric motor 62 for driving the propeller 66, and a control unit 61 for controlling the motor 62. The control unit 61 is positioned in between the motor 62 and the attachment unit 50. According to the configuration above, even when another hull collides with the hull 10, the control unit 61 is easily protected from impact of the collision since the control unit 61 is in between the motor 62 and the attachment body 50. Therefore, impact resistance of the electric outboard engine 70 is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】電動船外機の耐衝撃性を向上させる。【解決手段】電動船外機70は、船外機本体60と取付け部50とを備える。取付け部50は、船外機本体60を船体10の後部に対して取り付ける。船外機本体60は、プロペラ66と、プロペラ66を駆動する電動のモータ62と、モータ62を制御する制御部61と、を備える。制御部61は、モータ62と取付け部50との間に位置する。以上の構成によれば、船体10に他の船体が追突した場合等であっても、モータ62と取付け部50との間に制御部61があるため、制御部61が当該追突の衝撃から保護され易くなる。そのため、電動船外機70の耐衝撃性を向上させることができる。【選択図】図1
