To increase an amount of absorption of collision energy while suppressing an amount of entry of a barrier in the event of a front collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle front part structure 100 includes: a pair of front side members 11L, 11R provided on both side parts of a vehicle front part and extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction; and an engine compartment cross 20 mounted between the pair of front side members 11L, 11R. The engine compartment cross 20 is an annular member that includes: a pair of side members 21L, 21R that are respectively attached to inner sides of the front side members 11L, 11R in a vehicle width direction and respectively extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction; a front cross 24 connecting respective front ends of the pair of side members 21L, 21R in the vehicle width direction; and a rear cross 27 connecting respective rear ends of the pair of side members 21L, 21R in the vehicle width direction.
