To provide a technology that reduces a possibility of making a mistake in designating an imaging direction at an imaging point.SOLUTION: An imaging point registration system comprises: a reception unit that accepts designation of an imaging point and an imaging direction at the imaging point; a direction specifying unit that specifies a direction in which a road section including the imaging point extends; a guide unit that, if there is a difference between the imaging direction and the direction in which the road section including the imaging point extends, provides guidance that there is a difference therebetween; and a registration unit that registers the imaging direction specified again according to the guidance in association with the imaging point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
