To provide a road construction detection device capable of reducing an unnecessary notification regarding detected road construction.SOLUTION: A road construction detection device 100 comprises: an imaging device 12; a road construction recognition unit 22 that recognizes road construction from an image acquired by the imaging device 12; a location information acquisition unit 23 that acquires location information of the road construction; a time information acquisition unit 24 that acquires time information; a construction information map recording unit 25 that records construction area information, in which a construction area in a predetermined area is placed on a map based on the location information, and time information corresponding to the construction area information; and a construction determination unit 26 that determines two or more adjacent construction areas to be one construction area, provided that at least a portion of the two or more adjacent construction areas are recorded in an overlapping manner when the two or more construction areas related to the construction area information recorded in the construction information map recording unit 25 are placed on the map.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
