To provide a retread propriety determination method and a retread propriety determination device capable of accurately determining the propriety of retreading of a tire.SOLUTION: A retread propriety determination method includes a step (S1) of acquiring a condition characteristic value indicating conditions of the tire used in the first determination and the second determination, a step (S2) of executing the first determination, and a step (S9) of executing the second determination when it is determined that the tire may be retreaded in the first determination. The first determination is one of the chemical deterioration condition determination using the residual durability of the base tire calculated based on the chemical change of the rubber material of the tire and the physical deterioration condition determination using the residual durability of the base tire calculated based on the physical damage condition of the tire, and the second determination is the other of the chemical deterioration condition determination and the physical deterioration condition determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】タイヤのリトレッドの可否を正確に判定可能なリトレッド可否判定方法及びリトレッド可否判定装置が提供される。【解決手段】リトレッド可否判定方法は、第1判定及び第2判定で用いられる、タイヤの状態を示す状態特性値を取得する工程(S1)と、第1判定を実行する工程(S2)と、第1判定でタイヤのリトレッドが可能と判定した場合に第2判定を実行する工程(S9)と、を含み、第1判定は、タイヤのゴム材料の化学的変化に基づいて算出される台タイヤの残存耐久性を用いる化学的な劣化状態判定及びタイヤの物理的な損傷の状態に基づいて算出される台タイヤの残存耐久性を用いる物理的な劣化状態判定の一方であって、第2判定は、化学的な劣化状態判定及び物理的な劣化状態判定の他方である。【選択図】図4
