To provide a shift operation detection device adaptive to a case in which the distance from a shift pedal to a shift shaft is short as one purpose.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a shift operation detection device that has: a lever member which rotates on a predetermined rotary shaft connected to a shift rod to move; an energizing member which imparts energizing force to the lever member in a direction opposite the direction of the rotary movement; and a cover part which houses the lever member and also houses the energizing member. Then the lever member has an abutting part which abuts on one end of the energizing member to move the one end in the rotating direction. The cover part has a restriction part which abuts on the other end of the energizing member when the abutting part moves the one end of the energizing member in the rotating direction so as to restrict movement of the other end in the rotating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】本発明は、シフトペダルからシフトシャフトまでの距離が短い場合にも対応可能なシフト操作検出装置を提供することを一の目的とする。【解決手段】本発明は、シフトロッドに連結され所定の回動軸を中心に回動移動するレバー部材と、レバー部材に回動移動の方向と反対方向への付勢力を付与する付勢部材と、レバー部材を収容すると共に付勢部材を収容するカバー部と、を有するシフト操作検出装置に関する。そして、レバー部材は、付勢部材の一端に当接して該一端を回動方向に移動させる当接部を有する。カバー部は、当接部が付勢部材の一端を回動方向に移動させた場合、付勢部材の他端に当接して該他端の回動方向への移動を規制する規制部を有する。【選択図】図4
