To prevent a decrease in an accuracy of estimation regarding a position of the own vehicle by adjusting a range to detect a white line appropriately according to a situation.SOLUTION: A measuring device acquires output data from a sensor unit for detecting a surrounding feature, and extracts data corresponding to a detection result in a predetermined range having a predetermined positional relationship from a self-position among the output data. The predetermined range is determined according to an accuracy of the self-position.     【課題】状況に応じて白線を検出する範囲を適切に調整し、自車位置推定の精度低下を防止する。【解決手段】測定装置は、周囲の地物を検出するためのセンサ部からの出力データを取得し、出力データのうち、自己位置から所定の位置関係にある所定範囲の検出結果に相当するデータを抽出する。所定範囲は、前記自己位置の精度によって決定される。そして、測定装置は、抽出されたデータに基づいて所定の処理を行う。【選択図】図4
