To provide an information provision device for a passenger conveyor, which limits movement of users who have a fever using the passenger conveyor, and reduces a risk of the spread of infection of infectious diseases.SOLUTION: An information provision device for a passenger conveyor is provided, the device comprising body temperature measuring means that is provided on a pole arranged in front of an entrance of a passenger conveyor and measures the body temperature of a user who approaches the pole, determining means that determines whether or not the measured body temperature measured by the body temperature measuring means is higher than a standard body temperature set in advance, notifying means that notifies the user of predetermined information, and notifying control means that causes the notifying means to notify the users of information for refraining from using the passenger conveyor when it is determined by the determining means that the measured body temperature is higher than the standard body temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
