To provide a heat pump system capable of highly accurately estimating a state of a sucked refrigerant while suppressing cost and of protecting a compressor.SOLUTION: A heat pump system includes: a refrigerant circuit 1 that includes a compressor 10 and in which a refrigerant circulates; a temperature sensor 2 measuring a temperature of the refrigerant; a pressure sensor 3 measuring pressure of the refrigerant; and a drive suppression control device 4 that determines pressure drop of the refrigerant to be sucked to the compressor 10 on the basis of a measurement value obtained by the temperature sensor 2 and a measurement value obtained by the pressure sensor 3 and performs suppression control of driving of the compressor 10. The drive suppression control device 4 determines pressure drop of the refrigerant to be sucked to the compressor 10 from the measurement value obtained by the temperature sensor 2 to control the driving of the compressor 10 when a predetermined first condition is satisfied, and determines pressure drop of the refrigerant to be sucked to the compressor 10 from the measurement value obtained by the pressure sensor 3 to perform the suppression control of the driving of the compressor 10 when a predetermined second condition different from the first condition is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】コストを抑えつつ吸入冷媒の状態を高精度で推定し、圧縮機を保護することが可能なヒートポンプシステムを提供する。【解決手段】圧縮機10を含むとともに冷媒が循環する冷媒回路1と、冷媒の温度を測定する温度センサ2と、冷媒の圧力を測定する圧力センサ3と、温度センサ2の測定値および圧力センサ3の測定値に基づいて圧縮機10に吸入される冷媒の圧力低下を判定して、圧縮機10の駆動を抑制制御する駆動抑制制御装置4と、を備え、駆動抑制制御装置4は、所定の第一の条件が成立する場合に、温度センサ2の測定値から、圧縮機10に吸入される冷媒の圧力低下を判定して圧縮機10の駆動を制御し、第一の条件と異なる所定の第二の条件が成立する場合に、圧力センサ3の測定値から、圧縮機10に吸入される冷媒の圧力低下を判定して、圧縮機10の駆動を抑制制御する。【選択図】図1
