To provide a stabilizer manufacturing method that can achieve both of ensuring strength of both ends and weight saving of a stabilizer, a stabilizer, and a cylindrical member for manufacture of stabilizer.SOLUTION: According to a stabilizer manufacturing method, for a cylindrical member having: a cylindrical midship part; a first cylindrical diameter reduction part which is provided on one end side of the midship part, has a wall thickness equal to a wall thickness of the midship part, and has a diameter smaller than the midship part; a second cylindrical diameter reduction part which is provided on the other end side of the midship part, has a wall thickness equal to the wall thickness of the midship part, and has a diameter smaller than the midship part; a first gimlet-shaped connection part which connects the midship part and the first diameter reduction part; and a second gimlet-shaped connection part which connects the midship part and the second diameter reduction part, the first and second diameter reduction parts are respectively pinched and pressed by a pair of first pressing members, whereby first and second ends, which constitute both ends of a stabilizer and have a wall thickness equal to a wall thickness of the stabilizer, are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】スタビライザにおける両端部の強度の確保と軽量化とを両立することができるスタビライザの製造方法、スタビライザおよびスタビライザ製造用筒状部材を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明に係るスタビライザの製造方法は、筒状の中央部と、中央部の一端側に設けられ、中央部の肉厚と同等の肉厚を有し、中央部よりも小さい径の筒状をなす第1縮径部と、中央部の他端側に設けられ、中央部の肉厚と同等の肉厚を有し、中央部よりも小さい径の筒状をなす第2縮径部と、中央部および第1縮径部を接続する錐状の第1接続部と、中央部および第2縮径部を接続する錐状の第2接続部とを有する筒状部材に対し、一対の第1の押圧部材によって第1および第2縮径部をそれぞれ挟み込んで押圧することによって、スタビライザの両端部を構成する第1および第2端部であって、スタビライザの本体部の肉厚と同等の肉厚を有する第1および第2端部を形成する。【選択図】図1
