To provide a soundproofing structure that can improve sound insulation and reduce thickness.SOLUTION: An embodiment of the present invention includes: a soundproofing material 10 comprising a sheet 11 having elasticity, a support portion 12 supporting the sheet 11 and dividing the sheet 11 into compartments; and holding members 20 holding the soundproofing material 10, where ten-point average roughness (RzJIS) of a contact surface of the support portion 12 with the sheet 11 is in the range of 20 μm or more to 200 μm or less, and the soundproofing material 10 is pressed between the holding members 20 under pressure greater than atmospheric pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
