To provide a new wave motion propagation mechanism which utilizes rotation.SOLUTION: A wave motion propagation mechanism (11) has: a spiral blade (21) which has spiral steps (protruding parts (211)) and a flat part (212) and rotates; and propagation means having pistons (31, 32) which are moved up and down relative to the spiral blade (21) by the steps of the spiral blade (21) and arranged in a propagation direction parallel to an axis of the spiral blade (21), and a transmission part (51) which is connected to the pistons (31, 32) to transmit a propagating force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
