To provide a vehicular hinge member capable of suppressing generation of galvanic corrosion at an abutment surface to a hood while suppressing manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A vehicular hinge member includes a base part fixed onto a vehicle body and an arm part with one end connected with the base part to be rotatable and the other end fixed to a hood made of aluminum alloy. The arm part is constituted of a resin-coated steel plate and a resin layer of the resin-coated steel plate is formed on an abutment surface to a hood at the arm part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】製造コストを抑制しつつ、フードとの当接面におけるガルバニック腐食を抑制可能な自動車用ヒンジ部材を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の一態様に係る自動車用ヒンジ部材は、車体に固定されるベース部と、一端部はベース部に回動可能に連結される共に、他端部はアルミニウム合金製のフードに固定されるアーム部と、を備えた自動車用ヒンジ部材である。アーム部が樹脂被覆鋼板から構成されており、当該樹脂被覆鋼板の樹脂層がアーム部におけるフードとの当接面に形成されている。【選択図】図1
