To provide a travel control device of an electric vehicle which can suppress occurrence of shock in a vehicle, even when loss electric power having a restricted change rate is greatly lower than actual loss electric power.SOLUTION: A travel control device of an electric vehicle includes a change rate restriction determination part for determining whether battery output of a battery for driving is equal to or less a prescribed first predetermined value, and a change rate restriction part for setting loss electric power of a motor to be loss electric power having a restricted change rate so as to be smaller than an actual change rate, when the change rate restriction determination part determines that the battery output of the battery for driving is equal to or less the first predetermined value, wherein the change rate restriction determination part further determines whether the battery output of the battery for driving is equal to or less a prescribed second predetermined value smaller than the first predetermined value, and the change rate restriction part invalidates restriction of a change rate when the change rate restriction determination part determines that the battery output of the battery for driving is equal to or less than the second predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】変化率を制限した損失電力が実際の損失電力を大きく下回っても、車両にショックが生じるのを抑制できる電動車両の走行制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】電動車両の走行制御装置は、駆動用バッテリの電池出力が予め定めた第1所定値以下であるか否かを判定する変化率制限判定部と、変化率制限判定部が第1所定値以下であると判定した場合に、モータの損失電力を実際の変化率よりも小さくなるように変化率を制限した損失電力とする変化率制限部と、を備え、変化率制限判定部は、更に、駆動用バッテリの電池出力が第1所定値よりも小さい予め定めた第2所定値以下であるか否かを判定し、変化率制限部は、変化率制限判定部が駆動用バッテリの電池出力が第2所定値以下であると判定した場合に、変化率の制限を無効化する。【選択図】 図3
