To provide an elevator control system capable of assigning an elevator car based on the relative number of passengers.SOLUTION: A method for sending a plurality of elevator cars includes steps of: receiving a call request of at least one of the plurality of elevator cars, the call request being a call request from a first position among a plurality of positions; determining the allowable number of passengers for each of the plurality of elevator cars by determining the number of passengers inside the plurality of elevator cars and determining the number of call requests which are assigned to the plurality of elevator cars and positioned between present positions of the plurality of elevator cars and the first position; and assigning the call request from the first position to a first elevator car having the allowable number of passengers that is larger than the allowable number of passengers for remaining elevator cars among the plurality of elevator cars.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
